(Makarasana – the Crocodile Posture)

In this asana aspirant lies like a crocodile so it is named as Makarasana.

Method

  1. Lie down in prone pose.
  2. Put the legs apart in a sufficiently comfortable distance while resting the inner side of the foot on the floor.
  3. Bring the hands together and put the palms on one another and rest the cheek on the palms.

This is the relaxation posture for those who are suffering with low back pain, slipped disc, sciatica etc.
