Health Benefits of Shasankasana (Rabbit Pose)!

You derive lots of health-benefits by practicing Yogasana daily. One of the simple Yogasana that brings lots of benefits to your abdomen, back, pelvis, ribcage, arms, neck, shoulders, joints and ultimately to your heart is Shasankasana (Rabbit Pose) – sitting like a Rabbit.

First sit on your knees (as shown); take your both hands back and catch the right wrist with the left; slowly bend forward; exhale breath gradually with ease; and rest your head on the floor without raising your buttocks. Once achieved this posture, you will feel comfortable.

By stretching your limbs and muscles in your arms, shoulders, pelvis, back, ribcage, and neck etc. you can feel blood circulation flooding these areas. Liver, stomach and spleen get activated; your adrenal glands are energized; the reproductive organs get rejuvenated; and all the muscles inside your abdominal area get massaged. Your breathing also gets regulated for the good.
