This is quite comfortable for all meditational practices, it is known as Sukhasana.

Method

  1. Sit in Samatala Stithi and fold the legs. Samatala Stithi is sitting on the ground with outstretched legs and pointed toes. Keep the head and spine straight. Place both the hands just besides the buttocks.
  2. Put the arms on the knees in Chinmudra. Chinmudra is joining the thumb finger and index finger keeping the other fingers straight.
  3. Concentrate on the centre of the eyebrows while closing the eyes, or concentrate on any point while the eyes are open.
  4. Meditate in this position as long as comfortable.
